Techcible Inc. (“Techcible”, “we”, “us”) builds business software: the Techcible ERP platform, its web console, and the Techcible ERP mobile application. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers techcible.com and the Techcible ERP mobile app. Products we white-label for other companies are covered by the privacy policy of the company that operates them.
1. The most important thing to understand
Techcible ERP is deployed per organisation: your employer (or the company you contract with) runs its own Techcible ERP instance, and the mobile app connects to the instance URL you give it. The business records you create in the app — customers, invoices, inventory, HR entries, messages, files — are stored on that organisation’s instance, not on servers Techcible operates for itself. For that data, the organisation running the instance is the data controller and its policies apply; Techcible processes it only to the extent we host or support that instance under contract.
2. Data collected by the mobile app
- Account data — your name, email address and staff credentials, used to sign you in to your organisation’s instance (including two-factor authentication and single sign-on where enabled).
- Business content you create — records, comments, chat messages and file uploads, transmitted to and stored on your organisation’s instance.
- Device identifiers — a per-install identifier and a push notification token, used to deliver notifications and secure your session.
- Diagnostics — crash reports and performance data via Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry, used solely to find and fix defects.
The app does not collect your location, contacts or photos beyond files you choose to attach, shows no advertising, and contains no advertising or tracking SDKs.
3. Data collected by this website
- Contact details you send us — if you email us or use a contact link, we receive what you send and use it to respond.
- Usage analytics — techcible.com uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). You can block this with standard browser tools and it does not affect the site.
4. How we use data
To provide and secure the products, deliver notifications you enable, respond to enquiries, and diagnose crashes and performance problems. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Sharing
Data is shared only with the service providers needed to run the products — your organisation’s instance host, Google Firebase (push notifications, crash reporting), Sentry (error reporting) and Google Analytics (website only) — and where the law requires it. Each provider receives only what its function needs.
6. Security and retention
All traffic between the app, the website and instance servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Credentials are stored in the operating system’s secure storage on your device. Business records are retained according to your organisation’s own policies; diagnostics are retained only as long as needed to fix the issues they describe.
7. Your choices and deletion
- Staff accounts in Techcible ERP are created and removed by your organisation’s administrator — ask them to correct or delete your account and its data.
- You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
- For anything relating to techcible.com or this policy, contact [email protected] and we will respond promptly.
8. Children
Our products are workplace tools intended for adults and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes to how the mobile app handles data will also be noted in its release notes.
